Beyond the Aviator—Understanding Howard Hughes

The Jewel Box Theatre continues its popular and affordable Play Reading Series when it presents Beyond the Aviator—Understanding Howard Hughes, on Saturday, March 3, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m.

This script, written for a full-length motion picture, begins where the Scorsese-DiCaprio film, The Aviator, ends in 1947 and follows Hughes through his reclusive years until his death in 1976. The screenplay reveals a number of heretofore unknown events in the life of Howard Hughes. You will leave the theater with an understanding of Mr. Hughes, a complex and troubled genius. This reading will be multimedia, showing actual locations for the film scenes plus several never before seen photographs of Howard Hughes.

Ticket Information:

Admission for each play reading is just $5, or more if you choose, and are available at the door. No phone reservations and no discount tickets are offered for these performances.
